RETAIL ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for part-time boutique associates to staff our boutique. Must have experience in Customer Service, positive attitude, and be reliable. Looking for someone who is up to date on current trends in the fashion and entertaining industry as well, as someone who has an eye for styling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store
• Process in-store orders
• Help to price and receive any new product that is shipped to the store
• Build the brand by cultivating loyalty with local customers
• Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing
• Blow-up in-store balloon orders
• Assist customers with any questions and make recommendations based on client needs
• Maintain knowledge of products
• Direct potential clients to appropriate contacts within the company (e.g. events, planning, press, balloons)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of boutique/sales experience ideal
• Experience in the event/entertainment industry is an asset
• Experience using balloons is an asset
• Having knowledge of crafting or DIYing is an asset
